About this Record
An exceptionally obscure mid-1970s independent release, this 7-inch single by Starcross was issued in 1976 on the private Fable Records imprint (FS 302). Written by John Mills, both sides showcase the rich, melodic guitar arrangements and dynamic songwriting characteristic of private press rock and AOR from the era. With Side A featuring the energetic, concise “I’ve Got a Plan” (3:29) and the flipside stretching out on the moody, prog-tinged “Quicksand” (4:57), this slice of vinyl remains a coveted curio for private press enthusiasts and vintage 70s rock collectors alike.

「A面は「計画がある」。その計画の中に、このレコードの山を片付けるプランも入っていてほしかったです。」
(Wife’s thought: Side A is titled “I’ve Got a Plan.” If only that plan included a blueprint for clearing out this ever-growing wall of vinyl.)
