About this Record
This original 1969 US promo 7″ single showcases The Don Meehan Project on Columbia Records (cat # 4-44897). Don Meehan was a legendary Columbia Studios recording engineer best known for engineering seminal sessions for Bob Dylan (including Desire), Simon & Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, and many others. Under his own moniker, Meehan teamed up with renowned arranger/producer Jimmy Wisner (of “Asia Minor” / Kokomo fame) to craft this lush, late-’60s baroque pop and studio-craft curiosity.
Housed in its original vintage green Columbia factory paper sleeve, this promo 45 features the white Columbia “Radio Station Copy – Not For Resale” label design with bold red lettering and eye logo.

「スリーブの真ん中あたりがビリッと破けていて、なんだかちょっとエロチック。」
(Wife’s thought: The paper sleeve is torn right around the center hole—kind of suggestive, isn’t it?)
